Associate Attorney

Mgr. Jiří Kočiščák

Jiří is a leading expert in matrimonial property law. Known for his precision and systematic approach, he provides clear direction and confidence to clients—even in the most complex financial cases.

His practice, however, reaches far beyond family property matters. Jiří also advises clients on real estate and construction law, neighbour disputes, property rights, co-ownership settlements, and a broad range of civil and commercial litigation, including trademark disputes. He brings strategic oversight to every case while always keeping an eye on practical, efficient outcomes.

As a seasoned negotiator, Jiří excels when talks reach an impasse. Even in emotionally charged disputes, he finds ways forward. His ability to think several steps ahead makes him a reliable partner in complex negotiations as well as in courtroom preparation.

Jiří has been with BRUNCKO & STRAKA since 2016 and has worked as a cooperating attorney since 2022.

Outside of law, Jiří is a competitive chess player. He holds the title of International Master (IM) and regularly competes in top-tier Czech tournaments. And—though he doesn’t often admit it—he occasionally enjoys unwinding with a computer game or two.

Jiří is fluent in English.
