Mgr. Michael Straka

Michael is, together withStanislav, one of the two partners of the law firm.

Michael has mastered both familyand criminal law.  He began his practice representing victims of domesticviolence and has since successfully defended clients in some of the country’smost high-profile criminal cases.

Michal earns respect wherever hegoes. He doesn't defer to titles or robes—he values substance over form, andfairness over formality.

He doesn’t care for endless talk.When a case calls for action, he acts. Yet despite his direct and forcefulapproach, Michal is also the one who settles the highest number of cases in ouroffice. Clients and adversaries alike often prefer to reach an agreement whenhe’s across the table—perhaps because they know he’ll fight relentlessly ifthey don’t.

Michal brings intensity toeverything he does. He cares deeply about each client and hates losing. Thanksto his perfect grasp of procedural law, he guides clients through even the mostdifficult court hearings. And when it comes to cross-examination, Michal issimply at the top of his game—there’s no witness he can’t handle.

He has been practicing law withStanislav since 2016 and became an attorney in 2019. His practice focuses oncriminal defence and victim representation, as well as family, civil, andadministrative offences law. He is a member of the Czech Defence Lawyers’Association and the Czech Association of Marriage and Family Counselors.

Outside the office, Michal ispassionate about sports. He competed in bodybuilding and powerlifting, and is adedicated Harley-Davidson rider.
