Lawyer

Mgr. Samuel Ďurovčík

Samuel has mastered administrative law, especially in matters of citizenship.

He is a lawyer who loves to get to the bottom of things. Samuel is both creative and honest—clients can count on him to tell the truth.

He has an exceptional international background—from attending an international school in Warsaw and studying politics in Manchester to interning with a member of the Slovak parliament. Samuel has always stayed close to real-world issues, whether as a legal intern at the Organization for Aid to Refugees or as a translator navigating the boundaries of language, culture, and legal systems.

Samuel has an impressive general knowledge and a deep understanding of both global and Central European history, which enables him to uncover old, forgotten—yet still relevant—legal provisions. These skills make him a true expert in Czech and Slovak citizenship law.

He insists on strict adherence to the law, even when it runs counter to long-established administrative practices. One of Samuel’s hobbies is suing international airlines—at home, he keeps a gallery of judgments in cases he’s won against major carriers (including Lufthansa).

Samuel is informal, friendly, and communicative—he knows how to listen, but also when to draw the line. He knows when it’s time to act and when it’s time to file a complaint. Samuel will never make your decisions for you or try to persuade you—instead, he’ll clearly explain everything you need to know and leave the final decision to you.

If you’re looking for a lawyer who won’t just represent you but will truly stand up for you—and who will always tell you the truth—contact Samuel.

If you're wondering whether you might be eligible for Czech or Slovak citizenship and want someone who will investigate and handle the process, reach out to Samuel—and visit www.cs-passport.eu.

During his studies, Samuel interned at the Organization for Aid to Refugees (OPU), completed the International Baccalaureate program at an international school in Warsaw, interned with a member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, worked as an interpreter and translator, and studied several semesters of Politics and International Relations at the University of Manchester.

Samuel has been with the law firm BRUNCKO & STRAKA since spring 2024 and will become a trainee attorney in November 2024.

In his free time, Samuel enjoys traveling—he has already visited 50 countries.

He is fluent in English, German, and Polish. He can also communicate in Russian and has basic knowledge of Turkish.
